Papa Faal is from the Gambia, West Africa. Beginning in the 1990s, he worked as an Information Technology engineer and Consultant before jointing the United States Air Force right after 9/11 to bring justice for those whose lives perished in that awful attack by the Terrorist group Al Qaida. He left the US Air Force in 2009 to join the Army as a commissioned officer. He served in the United States military for ten years, culminating his military service with a tour in Afghanistan in 2011. 
      Papa Faal is an author, a political activist and a freedom fighter. Since 1994, he participated in scores of demonstrations against human rights abuses and injustices against the Gambian people by dictator Yahya Jammeh. He met with several United States law makers including congressman Keith Ellison, Mark Meadow, and Luke Messer, Chiefs of Staff for Betty McCollum, Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar to raise concerns about the human rights issue in the Gambia under Yahya Jammeh's brutal regime. He also met with State Department and United Nations officials as well as NGOs such as National Endowment for Democracy and National Democratic Institute to raise the same issues and to facilitate change in the Gambia. 

       In December of 2014, Papa and several Gambia soldiers attempted to end the brutal rules of Yayha Jammeh in an attempted coup which unfortunately failed. Papa Faal believes that every human being deserves the right to life, liberty and pursued of happiness. He believes that  democracy, human rights, good governance, rule of law and justice is the foundation for peace, stability, and prosperity for any nation or people.

     Papa believes that life without a breath of liberty, is not worth living. That is why he continues to dedicate himself in the fight for democracy, human rights, good governance and justice in the Gambia and elsewhere.      

       Papa  holds two masters degrees (Master of Science in Technology Management and Master of Business Administration) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree.

      Papa lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife and two beautiful kids.
